Hamilton woman found dead in Niagara Region

Homicide detectives are investigating and would like to speak with anyone who had contact with the 27-year-old within the last week

Niagara Regional Police have identified a woman who was found dead in a rural area of Niagara Region. 

At 3:10 p.m. on Saturday, police received a report of a deceased female in the area of Nineteenth Street and Seventh Avenue in Lincoln.

Homicide detectives are now identifying the woman as 27-year-old Jessica Lynn St. Jules of Hamilton.

She is known to have connections in the Hamilton and Halton area.  

Anyone with information, or who may have had contact with Jessica within the last week, is asked to call police at (905) 688-4111, option 3, ext. 1009482.

Anonymous tips can be submitted through Crime Stoppers of Niagara online or by calling 1-800-222-8477.

In an earlier release, police said they have no information to suggest an ongoing threat to the community.
