Man injured in early morning Campbellville shooting

Halton police are investigating an early morning shooting in rural Milton that left one man wounded and two facing charges.

Halton police were contacted by Guelph police in the early morning hours Monday (Oct. 28) after two men attended a Guelph hospital.

One was treated and released with a non life-threatening gunshot wound apparently suffered in the Guelph Line area north of Campbellville between midnight and 6 a.m.

The other man was not injured.

Both men – a 25-year-old from Halton Hills and a 28-year-old from Surrey, B.C. – have been charged with discharging firearm with intent.

They are being held in custody pending a bail hearing.

Anyone with information or dash cam footage from Guelph Line north of Campbellville between 12 and 6 a.m. Oct. 28 is asked to contact the Major Crime Bureau at 905-825-4777, ext. 4776.
