OPP, Toys "R" Us team up for United Way's holiday gift drive

United Way Halton & Hamilton is excited to come together with Toys"R"Us Canada Ltd. and the Burlington Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police - Highway Safety Division for the fourth year to spread some cheer to children and families in our community who are less fortunate this holiday season.

From Nov. 29 to Dec. 3, people can make donations at the Toys"R"Us Hamilton Mountain location (970 Upper Wentworth St.) to be distributed through United Way's Holiday Helping Hand Program.

Brad Park, President and CEO of United Way Halton & Hamilton, shares, "For four years now, this holiday gift drive has shown the incredible impact we can make when we come together for our community. From Nov. 29 to Dec. 3, Officers from the OPP Burlington Detachment - Highway Safety Division will be on-site with the Mobile Support Unit, helping to drive donations and showing their support for the Holiday Gift Drive.

"Now in its fourth year, this initiative has become a meaningful way to bring our community together. We look forward to connecting with people across Hamilton and Halton to help families experience the joy and support of a united community."

If you would like to support but are unable to make it to the Toys"R"Us location, please use the dedicated online portal to make a donation that will be used to purchase gifts for families.
